Worldwide Marathons

The overseas marathons will be run by the three Rifle Companies and Support Company. Covering 19 countries in which the Welsh Guards have fought or been based over the past 100 years, the Guardsmen will run marathons, conduct battlefield tours, adventure training and assist in delivering training to foreign armed forces. The Prince of Wales’s Company will be focussing on WW1, Number Two Company and Three Companies on WW2 (Northern Europe and Italy/Tunisia respectively).
